Just thought I would take a moment to thank my sister here. This Christmas she got me a nook (a kindle-like device). At first I had no idea what I would put on it. Then I realized two things. First, there are TONS of books my dad has in his library that I love to read and reread that are no longer in print; the nook has them. Second, I never realized how much I missed reading. I used to read a lot while I was in school, I was up to about 400 pages a day in 8th grade, and by the time I was done with high school, I was about 6-800 depending on how hard it was to read. I LOVED to read, and still do. I take my nook everywhere. Get to work early? Time to read. Stuck in a line? Time to read. Cant sleep? Time to read. So I thought I would take a moment to thank Kathryn Evans for this wonderful little device. It has rekindled (pun intended) my passion for reading before I even knew I missed or lost it.
