Just thought Id share a journal entry with you guys...I hope its an encouragement... Taking Up My Cross Sweating blood, nearly fainting, Spit upon and scorned. Carrying two planks of wood, Naked and sore; To carry your cross is to have your eyes on the top of the hill, knowing that you are taking yourself to your own death. And for what? For the very ones that are killing you. What kind of love is this? That one would lay down his life for his enemies. May I take up my cross every day, hope that those hurting me may come into a relationship with the loving Savior that saved me from the flames of eternal condemnation. Then Jesus said to His disciples,If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. -Matthew 16:24
