Just to put the record straight my posts on Askern Town Council have nothing to do with the franchise for Alexander House With me the straw that broke the camels back and made me not to go again for the franchise was when Askern Town Council decided to charge Askern people for the hire of it. the late John Hardy when he was on the council before his fallout with the Labour party & illness had put into place with the backing of certain councilors that the people of Askern shouldnt pay to use Alexander House as it belongs to them as soon as John had fell out with the Labour party and illness set in Askern Town Council under the leadership of Frank Jackson (Mayor) decided to make everyone pay and kept in place by the new leader Howard Connel.
