Just to update on Emily - she continues to do well at Beyond Therapy but she hasnt been feeling so great these past few days - stomach issues. On top of her getting Miralax once a day and colace (a stool softener) twice a day we gave her a suppository on Wednesday and again on Thursday with just minimal results - then a fleets enema on Friday morning with still just minimal results. She was also very tender to touch in her tummy with abdominal distention. So finally last night I decided to take her to S.Rite ER to get her checked out with maybe stomach X-ray. Got home a like 12:30ish and didnt prob get to bed til 2 am! Ughhhhh! ER doc showed me the X-ray and said your colon works like it goes up and across then down and out. Well she has a lot of poo that hasnt made it down yet so they want me to double her Miralax to twice a day for bout 5 days and still if not good results then double the dose but still twice a day for maybe 5 more days? They said she needs more Miralax to break things down more to move it. Also talked to her pediatrician office today and they said I could also give her senekot on top of the Miralax so gunna try that today as well. Also giving her some prune juice. So hopefully before too long we will get somewhere with this! Little bit exhausting and feel bad for her cuz I know she cant feel great in her tummy right now? Need to get this worked out before therapy on Tuesday if possible. Please continue prayers! Love to you all!
