Just visited for a half hour at Tonys Colonial Market on Federal Hill. A place I have visited every Saturday for the last 20 years. Spoke with the owner Tony and his wife whom operate such a great place on the hill. Got my provolone mild, thinly sliced and fresh Italian bread. I normally get additionally my Genoa salami and gabicole (sp) mild. What a great place and the owners are great. Yes I speak fluent Italian but I also speak to great things and people. My recommendation to everyone....visit Tonys Colonial Market when you visit Federal Hill, hopefully during the parade this weekend. I also dined at Constantinos which was great so I dont forget my friends of great food there. A great evening on Federal Hill. Hey I got hit by a car once in 2010 but came back strong and Im treasured to enjoy what thrives here today. Hop to see you on Sunday for the parade. Be well.
