Just voted at Watson. The lines were moving steadily and the amount of voters coming in was just as steady. I would probably estimate that it was about 2/3 those in their senior years, and 1/3 younger voters and middle age. I voted for the only trustee who has unwaveringly stood for a change in policy toward restorative practices in our schools, two progressive and principled candidates, and one candidate who has actively participated both on this forum and attended an overwhelming number of Board meetings over the last couple of years. Dedication, knowledge, and participation like that will hopefully translate into a trustee who is equally so if elected.
