Just want to give a HUGE shout out to FRED MEYER!!! Not only do they have the lowest gas prices.....but they do NOT participate in the scam that most other gas station are pulling. Charging us 10 cents more PER gallon (i know ampm stopped but i dont use their gas)instead of per transaction!!! Then blaming it on the banks. I know and personally work for the CEO of a small local bank...and I have asked her this exact question. Gas stations are charged by banks per transaction not per gallon. I say BOYCOTT all gas stations doing this until it stops...and YEAH!!! for FRED MEYER. You will have my repeated business at your pump. Now your pharmacy....is a whole different topic.
