Just want to testify His goodness... I was praying one morning about my purpose in Haiti. I asked the Lord what He wanted me to do there this season. Should I teach English? Should I speak at womens conferences? I briefly included in my prayer that it would be nice to have a job that paid some. The evening of that same day I was offered a job to teach at the Pursuit Of Happiness English Institute...and it pays! Whoa God!! You are so faithful. But wait, He isnt done because He, of course, goes above and beyond all we could ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). I prayed for an opportunity to visit my family before I start teaching next month since it will be hard to leave once Im committed. What do you know? A divine connection allowed me to get home and back for FREE....and on first class! What?! Hallelujah. Oh but wait...again. Hes still not done. A couple weeks ago I had given God my dream list of all the places I wanted to go. I didnt list everything but He knew all that was in my heart. (I have another crazy, awesome story about dreams Ill share later.) One place Ive always wanted to go is North Carolina. Especially during the Fall, and to visit my grandparents who live there only part of the year. When I told my dad I was coming home for a visit from Haiti, he informed me of visiting NC. I asked if I could go and it all fell into place perfectly. So perfectly that Im going to be with my dad and grandparents the last week they are living in NC. After this week they wont be going back in the years to come. This was my only chance. How divine! His timing is absolutely perfect. Im seriously in awe of His goodness. What I love most about God is that Hes always good. Not just now when Im on a mountain top, but all the days of my life. Hes so kind. So sweet. I give Him glory.
