Just wanted to share my special friend Peanut with you. He is a miniature mule. Because of Gods amazing Genus of Species. Every single mule that has ever been born is sterile. A donkey must be bred to a horse/pony for every single one - Ripleys is still looking for the first. The species are similar, but in Gods wisdom, they can only cross once. Mules are highly intelligent, friendly, stubborn, and amazing creatures. Many ranchers have them to protect their cattle. They take great offense to strange coyotes/cougars trespassing. I have seen Peanut run and knock a strange dog right off his feet and send it rolling. He would get on his knees and crawl under the fences - Peanut goes where he wants to go. He was a fascinating addition to our lives.
