Just watched 2 STATES. 2 THINGS stand out: The amazingly talented writer & director Abhishek Varman & the mindblowing photography by Binod Pradhan. Just wow! 2 ACTORS killed it: Alia Bhatt by her brilliant personality & performance, and Arjun Kapoor with his best, restrained & balanced performance so far. This film will redefine his strength. 2 SONGS: Mast magan & the hidden gem Chaandaniya (Adhoore). Though the film is a love story, it surprises us with one of the most wonderful and understated father-son track, that really puts the film together, towards the climax. The best film that I have seen post Bhaag Milkha. A rare, wholesome film that excels in every department, despite having a thin story plot. I just wish the film was a bit shorter in length. Abhishek is easily one of the best directors to make his debut after a long time. This film can be watched 2 TIMES, at least. #2StatesMovie, 2 States Movie.
