Just watched 2 incredible films: 12 Years a Slave and Omar. The first set in Washington D.C in the late 1840s... the second set in Palestine in the early 2000s… more than 150 years later, yet ironically VERY similar. Funny how we get so caught up in our own lives and stupid little problems we forget the real struggles that people just like us have to go through in other parts of the world. Definitely saying some prayers tonight… not a soul exists that doesnt deserve their freedom; and definitely not watching any more movies for a while. #needmorekleenex
