Just watched Dracula Untold. CGI and effects were fantastic. And Tywin Lannister fit his part perfectly. Stephanie Meyer, if youre going to do ridiculously overpowered vamps,THIS is how its done. HOWEVER, the blood hunger was less terrible addiction and more like a pregnant womans appetite. The dialogue was retarded, missed some great opportunites for good one liners. There were two extremely retarded plot moments, and it suffers from main character is Jesus perfect syndrome. AND bad guys kick puppies syndrome. Anyway, it had a great chance to explore themes of addiction, the consequences of vengeance, and redemption with the Janissary soldiers and Vlads past. But the movie sacrificed meaning, complexity and the promised grittiness for a simple good guy saves world fantasy story. Conclusion? .... Meh, Twilight was worse. 4/10 stars
