Just watched Good Deeds (Tyler Perry) and cried like a baby. I slept in my car on several of those streets and tried to get into the same shelter where Lindsey and her daughter stayed. I couldn’t get in because I had no small children and I was not battered and abused. The more I watched this movie, the more personal it became.
