Just watched a documentary about the battle of Britain with Ewan and Colin Mcgregor,some of those pilots were only eighteen when they took part in that ,they saved us from Nazi invasion, we`ve got a lot to thank them for.Reginald Mitchell who designed the Supermarine Spitfire lived on Congleton road in Butt lane in Newcastle under Lyme before the war, sadly he died before he saw the Spitfire fly it makes us proud that he was connected to the ancient and loyal Borough of Newcastle Under Lyme Staffordshire England,great.
