Just watched the iron lady id forgotten how annoying her voice was. Meryl Streep ( not a favourite of mine) doing a good job. I liked the tid bits re her husband etc. That i didnt know much about. I still dont like her politics but a little more understanding of her background was interesting. Got my back up re the misogyny/ patronization of the men towards to her. I had forgotten the terrible times of IRA terrorism. Some bits i had completely forgotten. Overall good look at recent history. And an interesting way it was done,they did try to humanize her! Didnt work on me.i felt some sympathy but she still pissed me off. A rather brilliant mind tho. I remember that George Negus interview so clearly. Boy i was cranky by the end of it!!!!
