Just watched the new Star Trek: Into Darkness. I didnt like it. Chris Pine makes a shitty Kirk. And Anton Yelchin makes a shitty Chekov. And only Leonard Nimoy can be Spock. Zachary Quinto makes a good Valcan but not a good Spock. However, Benedict Cumberbatch made an excellent Khan. John Cho made a good Sulu and Simon Pegg makes a good Scotty. I also didnt like the new ship layout. What was wrong with the old layout. And why is it when they get into a dog fight with another ship it seems half the crew gets sucked into space. The old layout had emergency force fields for haul breaches. William Shatner never had his crew sucked into space. And the story line is the major turn off for me. Instead of a Star Trek theme it is more like Die Hard in space. What happened to the Explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life. This was how many ways you can die in space. Sorry J.J. Abrams you did good with MI3 but not with Star Trek.
