Just went through an extraordinary interview today, at a renowned clinic for reproductive medicine in Gleneagles Hospital. The masculine and good looking chief embryologist who phoned me yesterday rendered in detail what this position actually holds for me. At that very moment, i am fully aware of my future prospect- being trained into a professional embryologist highly sought after by the whole world, well paid and reputational. Moments later, he expressed the professors keenness to meet me in person. Imagine how honoured i felt being escorted into his conference room! The fact was the management had actually shortlisted the potential candidates before i submitted my application but the professor told his team to proceed in interviewing me! I couldnt believe my ears. However, after a long stroll through the botanical gardens, ive decided to turn down the offer. Reason being simple, because i strongly believe in pursuing your own passion. After being introduced to the environment, i realized that i will be singly confined to a small working station and so embryology is definitely not for me. Nevertheless, i am more than thankful for this honourable experience.
