Just when I thought I might (actually needed to) come home and kick back a while, my mothers nurse called to tell me shes on a hunger strike and hasnt eaten in two days. Apparently, shes still drinking a protein shake, but is refusing solid foods. So, I grabbed a packet of instant oatmeal and headed over to her place. We talked about it for a few minutes, I made the oatmeal, and she ate it.... problem solved, for now. Told her, when I come back tomorrow, Ill make more oatmeal and were going to talk about the meds shes been refusing.
