Just when I thought I wouldnt know what to say about being - TopicsExpress

Just when I thought I wouldnt know what to say about being eliminated on Project Runway Allstars tonight, I received this. She says it all for me: Hi Chris, Just finished watching the Wicked episode of Project Runway to find you being eliminated for a really cool dress design inspired by the play. Something about this series just didnt sit well for me from the very first episode. You are by far and wide my most favorite designer both in talented design and personality. I dont know if this series gave you any bad vibes as it did me, cant really put my finger on just why, guess Ill never know because I dont care to watch it anymore. Its almost as if it lacked the spirit and real humanness of the previous runway series. No heart and not nearly as much fun. I think if they had kept you on, you would have been the best chance to bring that spirit to the show. But obviously they dont want that and I think sometimes they eliminate designers for the wrong reasons, especially in this case. Your Wicked design dress was much more special and fun to see than several of the others. It wasnt the top one for that challenge but it should have been in with the higher rated designs. You probably dont agree with me, but I think you might be better off away from this show. The people arent what they used to be. The whole group especially the host, the judges, and the mentor just have no staying power to keep audience members watching. Without you they dont have a lot left. Keep up the wonderful work and Im hoping and hoping (as are my tv viewing buddies) that your Mad Fashion show or one similar will return some day. You have brought a lot of fun and happiness and quite a bit of insight to a lot of people. You are the best. Fondly, Ellen Stewart
