Justice was NOT served yesterday. Today is a sad day for civil rights; our country has been set back 45 years. An innocent, unarmed, child is murdered and his murder is found to be INNOCENT?...It is imminent that we look within ourselves and reflect -- this could be any one of our children innocently walking from a store to their home!! It is unfortunate that 45 years since Dr. King was murdered that our country still is, in some ways, segregated. Not just on days like today, but EVERYDAY, we need to remind ourselves that the color of someones skin does NOT make them a bad person, or a danger -- this absurd idea has been embedded in our minds by not only the social media but by the ones who have taught us what we know. Trayvon Martin may have died but his spirit lives on -- NOW IS THE TIME TO TAKE ACTION. Each and every one of us has a responsibility to this country. It is our duty to be involved, it is our duty to protest, to take action...without us, there is no USA. Our childrens lives are at steak if we do not make a CHANGE!!
