Kian and Jodi opened their own juice bar called The Monkey Tree on Strandhill beach, Co. Sligo in Summer 2007. Open during the summer months, its a joint venture between Kian, Jodie and Alan Mulrooney. Apparently Kian felt that there was something missing for the local surfers in Sligo and decided to fill the gap. Kian met Jodi while on tour when she was in Girl Thing. They quickly became mates and at first Kian tried to play down speculation, stating; We’ve been good mates for years and now we’ve started dating adding in a later interview, We know each other well and I know she’s not just interested in me because I’m in Westlife.
