K9 Millitia is a bilingual hip hop duo raised in Jersey City, NJ. Together, Peluka The Joker & Frankie Metalz, grew up with similar influences such as Hector Lavoe, Wu Tang, and Big Punisher. When they decided to combine their musical talents together for collaboration they realized a concoction was created of east coast hip hop and latin caribbean music. They transitioned between languages with ease and both had a complex lyrical scheme with words. By combining harmonies and hooks like that found in artists from Puerto Rico, with afro-cuban percussion, and then infusing it with a contagious hip hop kick drum their instrumentals spoke before they would, and created a genre of music never seen or heard before.
