KANGAROOS coach Tim Sheens and the Australian selectors have added nine players to the train-on squad for the Four Nations Tournament and Prime Minister’s XIII match against Papua New Guinea. Five Cowboys players and four from the Sea Eagles have been included. Along with today’s inclusions, a whole host of players have withdrawn due to injury. They are: Dale Copley (Broncos), Justin Hodges (Broncos), Matt Gillett (Broncos), Brett Morris (Dragons), Josh Dugan (Dragons), Trent Merrin (Dragons), Will Hopoate (Eels), Andrew Fifita (Sharks), Michael Gordon (Sharks), Billy Slater (Storm), Aidan Sezer (Titans) and Dave Taylor (Titans). Each week a number of players will be added to the squad from the eliminated finals teams. The PM’s side will be announced on September 29 and will face the Kumuls at Kokopo on October 12. The Four Nations squad will be announced at the conclusion of the PM’s XIII v PNG clash.
