KANU MASHINANI TEAM LAUNCHED By #BCNcorrespondent Kenya African National Union (#KANU) has gone full gear in the effort to revive and to strengthen the influence of the party at the grassroot level. In a forum that brought together 60 delegates drawn from four counties in the North Rift, it was agreed that a team and rallies dubbed KANU Mashinani be formed and should be rolling in a months time. The delegates elected interim officials to lead the team in adopting and implementing the plan. Jonathan Arap Bii from Uasin Gishu County was elected as the chairman, Elizabeth Chesang from Kabartonjo became the vice Chair while the nominated Baringo MCA Hon. Kiprono Changole took up the Treasurer seat and Paul Kibet of Elgeiyo Marakwet was elected Secretary. Baringo, uasingishu, Nandi and Elgeiyo Marakwet counties, each was wrepresented by 10 delegates. Party recruitment and rallies to kick off in a in a months time.
