KAZI NI KAZI NDUGU ZANGUNI Office of the President Jobs: 30,000 Paid Internships For Fresh Graduates Posted on July 28, 2014 at 8:52 am 30,000 fresh graduates will be hired by the government as interns in a program that begins in two months time. The programme which is run by the Office of the President is an attempt by the government to create more jobs will provide graduates with one year experience in a sector that goes hand in hand with what they studied in school. Most of the graduates will be working as primary school teachers and must have graduated by the time they apply for the program. “Two volunteers will be placed in each participating primary school and will receive a modest stipend of Sh 6,000 per month,” says the official government website Interested candidates should be between the ages of 22-30, should be brave, adventurous, disciplined, hardworking, ambitious and self- driven. The selection process will include an on line application, correct responses to essay questions and a series of test and assessment by independent and professional interviews and the qualified volunteers will undergo a three week thorough residential training to prepare them for placement.
