KC Govt Watch will be posting several excerpts from the Neighborhood Preservation Ordinance in Warsaw. Remember, this is personal property for homeowners. Subject to the interpretation and enforcement of who? Are you a homeowner? Here are some new rules for you if this is enacted. 1. Every foundation, floor, wall ceiling, and roof shall be reasonably weather tight and rodent proof; shall be capable of affording privacy; and shall be kept in good repair. 2. The roof and flashing shall be sound and tight and not have defects that admit rain. Roof drainage shall be adequate to prevent dampness or deterioration in the walls or interior portion of the building. Roof drains, gutters and downspouts shall be maintained in good repair and free from obstructions. Roof water shall not be discharged in a manner that creates a hazard on the premises or adjacent property. (more to be posted from the 18 pages)
