With an altitude of 1900M above sea level Jebel Jais is definitely the UAE’s tallest mountain and is every bit an exciting as a tall mountain should be. Rugged, at times wind-swept, valleys with sweeping views…and absolute isolation, whilst not a must to have 4x4 wheel. To the end of the long & winding asphalt road, is a narrow dirt track w/c the work is still in progress hugging the rocky edges. From the foothill where the asphalt road end Kuntaw Kids trekkers begins their journey up hill.
