KFR Most Wanted with Php 175,000. 00 headprize nabbed by CIDG Detectives After a decade of hiding, a KFR suspect was arrested by the detectives of 7th RCIDG headed by PSSUPT Ritchie Posadas together with the members of RID7, PIB-Cebu PPO, and Minglanilla MPS by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Judge Julian Ereño of RTC Branch 27, few days ago. On a report submitted by Posadas to PCSUPT Benjamin B Magalong, Acting Director, CIDG, suspect JERRY BITON Y BOLIVAR @ TOTO was arrested by the team of PCI RENE S KYAMKO, Provincial Officer, CEBU CIDT and PI TEOFILO JUANATA in the morning of March 6, 2014 at Barangay Guindaruhan, Minglanilla, Cebu. Posadas said that the group of Biton together with his cohorts kidnapped one Franklin Caluban, a Chinese-Filipino businessman in Ilo-ilo City sometime in November 1995 and released after 3 days when the family of Caluban paid the ransom money amounting to Php400, 000.00 to the group of Biton. Posadas added, only BITON remained at large since his cohorts were arrested after several days of the KFR incident but with the exceptional expertise of CIDG detectives, the accused was tracked down through intelligence gathering which resulted in his arrest.
