**KICKSTARTER UPDATE about the Art Truck... I just posted. ** HOWDY HEY EVERYBODY! Shawn here. hows it going? wanna know something ive learned with starting up a truck like this - i believe ive said it before even - its a HUGE amount of work and I totally need a team of folks to help out. that would be AMAZING!!!!!! If anyone out there is thinking of doing a kickstarter campaign. one of my suggestions - have help! lots of it! dont be bullheaded like me and think you can do everything yourself in a timely manor. Ive learned that i get overloaded with work as it is and with keeping up with the normal summer events, a big old man surgery that derailed things for a while, trying to play catch up, dealing with the truck breaking down a lot and getting stuff fixed PLUS rolling out the amazing Art Truck for the world and all the wonderful that has happened with being the very first art truck, being all over the news driving around lots of places.... WHOA!!!!! its so much more than i thought it would be!!!!!! Thru the good, the things breaking, and the excitement - it is all super cool!!!! - this couldnt have happened without all of you!!!! for that - THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! A lot of work has happened on the truck, id say generally its about 1/2 way there. i made a great friend who is also brilliant at customizing vehicles and he and I, with my minor help i am... were able to put the huge doors in, the skylight, the steps. the cabinets and hanging walls!!!!!!!! all that took months and months but those things are the core important things and everything else will happen over time. hopefully the outside will get done up over the winter/spring. the rest of the inside will get finished as well. time isnt really there to do too much during the summer but the whole thing is slowly taking shape!!!!!! a bunch of pictures below. AND REWARDS!!!!!!! Yes, they are in the works. i just finished about 100 of the keychains and am trying to figure out how to finish them up on the back. for everyone who gets to choose a type of painting. please let me know when you get a chance. I think we may have a pick up event at the Truck for the local folks! if you havent seen it yet it will be a great chance to come check it out and see the progress! as for the bulk of the rewards Im hoping to have them done before the end of the year. fingers crossed. please email me to let me know what youd like as far as type of painting youd like if there was an option - choices are an Orb painting.
