KILL THE LION & EAT THE HONEY SCRIPTURE REFERENCE: Judges 14:9 He scooped out the honey with his hands and ate as he went along. When he rejoined his parents, he gave them some, and they too ate it. But he did not tell them that he had taken the honey from the lions carcass. Samson, on his way to get himself a wife meet a lion on his way & the Spirit of the Lord rested on him & he tore the lion with ease. On the journey of life there are lions on the way that will try to stop you but as Samson overpowered the lion so shall be your story. It could be a lion of your health, business, relationship, marriage, promotion & academic. etc. But hear me it is not enough to keep you there, you have what it takes to kill any opposition on your way to divine destination. After Samson return & saw the carcass of the lion he saw honey in it. For every lion that you slay, you get the honour of your labour. Until you kill that lion & you cant enjoy the honey. In life what you need is available, if only you can pay the price. That promotion you need is available, that marriage you want is available & many more. Your input determines your output. Alot of people want great things at a discount & it does not happen that way. You must pay the full payment of what you through prayer. Until you slay your lion you will never enjoy the honey. First-- Jesus is referred to as the Lion from the tribe of Judah. Secondly Satan is referred to as a roaring lion seeking whom He may devour Satan offers a sweetness but the end result is bitterness---A counterfeit to what God offers. It is only the lion God empowers you to kill that you will have honey. IMPORTANCE OF HONEY Jesus appears to His disciples after His resurrection [Luke 24:41-43] But while they still did not believe for joy, and marveled, He said to them, Have you any food here? So they gave Him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb. And He took it and ate in their presence. Is this just a coincidence in the word of God or is He trying to illustrate something Why would it say that He ate fish or meat and honey? There is an inherent sweetness flowing from His redemptive work Through His words and influence on our hearts. Why do we have need or this? In this life we receive wounds to our soul from our own actions and the actions of others Not only does the word of life provide what we need but there is a sweetness refreshing quality to His work in us. Not only does God speak His Rhema into our heart but He also pours in honey a sweetness that is healing to our souls. Many times God uses His body, His representatives to pour honey or sweetness into other peoples lives. A spiritual flow of honey, coming from the only source of sweetness which is God Himself. Natural honey cannot be manufactured by man and neither can spiritual honey be manufactured by us......#Benefitsofkillinthelion I prophesy to you that in the month of february you will kill every lion that stands in your way & your mouth will not reject good things.
