KILLER WHALES SNATCH THE MINOR PREMIERSHIP WITH STYLE!!!! The Evans River Killer Whales have won the FNC Rugby Presidents cup Minor Premiership for the first time in the clubs 11 year history with a 34-15 win over the Casino Bulls on Saturday with a dominant performance in sub-marine conditions. The Killer Whales Forward pack lead from the front camping Casino in their half for the best part of the half to eventually open the flood gates early in the second half. Tries came from all passages of play entertaining the beloved die hard fans watching on in the rain. Tries went to Derrick Duignan,Luke D Cleaver, Gerrardo A. Cameroni, Ango Feil, Max Pye, and Ryan Duncan with the fourth try sealing the bonus point needed for the Minor Premiership win. Ball Handling was well above par considering the wet weather which didnt seem to hinder the Killers running rugby style moving the ball through the hands. The points from the day went to- Players Player: Ryan Duncan 3 Points: Ryan Duncan 2 Points: Max Pye 1 Points: Brock Matthew Rhodes and Derrick Duignan On Saturday the 30th of August the Killer Whales will travel to Lyle Park Wollongbar for the Major Semi Final against arch rivals Lismore City to go head to head with the winner going straight to the Grand Final.
