KING KASPA - After losing the role of Tarzan to Johnny Weissmuller, Olympic swimming gold medalist, Clarence Linden Buster Crabbe, made his starring debut as Kaspa, the Lion Man in Paramount Pictures very Tarzan-like KING OF THE JUNGLE (1932). In his next picture, he donned the Tarzan loincloth for producer Sol Lessors 12 chapter serial, TARZAN, THE FEARLESS (1933). Per IMDB: In addition to the 12-chapter serial, producer Sol Lesser edited the first four chapters into a 1933 feature film, with a trailer announcing future chapters at the theater weekly. However, some theaters did not show the trailer, causing confusion about the abrupt ending of the movie.
