KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Led by Emma Talley’s 2-under-par 70, the Alabama women’s golf team shot a second round total of 4-over 292 on Monday at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate on the par-72, 6,247 yard Watson Course at the Reunion Resort. “I feel like we played a little better today than we did yesterday,” Alabama head coach Mic Potter said. “We made a lot more birdies. All in all, we had our chances and had opportunities. We just have to keep getting better; keep improving every day. “We need everyone on this team to give themselves a chance to shoot a low score. I am definitely encouraged by our play. I was encouraged today over yesterday and I was encouraged yesterday over the way we played last week at Vanderbilt.” After starting off her round with a 1-over par 37 on the back nine, Emma Talley put together a near perfect second nine holes that included five birdies. She ended her round at 2-under par 70. After two days, Talley is tied for fifth individually at 2-under 142.
