#KM- This is my grandmothers pic in South Indias leading daily- The Hindu. My grandfather and grandmother are very dedicated and passionate about the Bommalakoluvu they organize every year. They work all round the year to put up this splendid display of art. Around 500 people turn up to see this event every year. I am lucky to have such awesome grandparents. They are my role models for some specific reasons: 1. My grandparents wake up at dot 5 AM, get ready by 6 AM, never miss out on any deadlines, work all day and sleep at dot 10PM. This has been their routine for past 40 odd years. I never saw anyone more DISCIPLINED. Now I guess people must stop boasting about discipline in America/Singapore and rather take examples from their homes. 2. They NEVER COMPLAIN even if they have hundreds of problems. They accept every challenge with a smile. Well, how many of us youngsters do it? I definitely complain a lot..!! 3. They had spread loads of happiness all these years and their good nature resulted in earning an ESTIMABLE place in every family members heart. I hope to instill these awesome qualities in me. May be one day even I can be as successful as they are. Wishing everyone loads of happiness and smiles this New Year & Sankranthi, Your KM.
