“KOLKATA CREATIVE WASTE ART CENTER” started its journey in the year 2001 by Sri Sanjoy Mondal, the National Scholarship holder in Folk Musical Instruments (Kholl) under Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The prime aim of the group is to develop and popularise the art of Instrumental Music. But with the passage of time, we gradually started to realise those cultural activities alone without any social responsibilities and commitment will be going to be a barren exercise in course of time. Till then, Kolkata Creative Waste Art Center extended its arms towards various social welfare activities. At first, it started to organise Awareness Programmed on different social issues through Street performances of Instrumental Music and then, with an aim to provide the Poor Youth of our society opportunities for Self-employment. It is a Non-political, Non-religious welfare group with an aim to develop the community as a whole through various developmental and welfare activities. Their Performance seen at Mayur Vihar-PH-3,Delhi at Bangiya Sanskritik Pariseda ( Durgha Pooja ) on 30th Sept 2014 at 9.00 A.M
