KPMG congratulates Silena Evans on winning the 2014-2015 Administrative Professional of The Year (APOTY) Contest held by the Bahamas Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP). This title is given to the most outstanding Administrative Professional that goes above and beyond at work and in her Chapter. The contest included writing an impromptu essay, a public interview in front of a panel of judges and members of IAAP and a written report from an immediate manager on her performance & contribution to the firm. During her one year reign as APOTY, she will lead the Bahamas Chapter’s activities in the field of service to the community and host guests at all Chapter meetings and events. She has been a part of the Bahamas Chapter of IAAP since 2011, and since inception, she has been making waves. In 2013, she was the only Bahamian and Caribbean Native to obtain a scholarship to attend the Educational Forum & Annual Meeting (EFAM) hosted by IAAP, moreover, she obtained the prestigious title of Member of Excellence (MOE) 2011-2012. She has served on various committees to assist the Chapter with continued growth through education, community building and leadership development. We commend Silena as she has balanced work, college, IAAP and community involvement over the years. We are proud of you & wish you continued success!
