KT, SKT & LG Shutdown Times: Due to a recent ruling regarding law violations by the big 3 companies, they have been banned from doing any business with new customers for 45 days each. However for convenience on the customers part, they will close on rotating shifts and the business days are as following; Only SKT T will operate business as normal during March 13 to April 4th. LG U+ is open from April 5th to April 26th KT Olleh is open from April 27th onwards LG will reopen from May 19th and SKT is open from 20th. During these times, the 2 closed companies cannot accept new customers - This also includes transfers from other companies (As of now this means you can only sign up to SKT network, including one way transfers from KT and LG networks). Also you cannot change your phone even if youre staying within the same network unless; Youve been using your phone for 24 months+ with your network. Your phone has been lost/damaged - in this case you will have provide an official proof, like a repair quote from the manufacturer or lost item file from the police. You can disconnect from your network during this period, any clauses in your contract will apply as normal This ruling only applies to KT, SKT, LG and the secondary network companies will operate as normal.
