KYC Frostbite League 2015 - sponsored by ASM-Marine, got off to an lively start on Sunday with the successful completion of the three excellent races. Steady Force 3-4 winds dominated, mostly overcast skies but temperatures a welcome several degrees higher than in recent weeks. Sole Mixed Dinghy team of Dave Kenefick & Grattan dEsrerre Roberts in their RS400 adding additional competitiveness to the Squib startline. On a day when the leading sailors dominated; Squib Fleet - Last years overall winners Colm Dunne & Rob Gill (KYC) with the best possible start - 3 straight wins. Laser Standard - Ronan Kenneally (MBSC) similarly with 3 wins. Laser Radial - Former 4.7 sailor Jamie Tingle (RCYC) leads with 2 wins and a 3rd. Laser 4.7 - RCYCs Richard McGinley 3 wins.
