Kaboom! A bunch of shots from back in the day. This is one of the first times I created my own character and I just gravitated to a story with a kid with huge gloves. Some of his design cues were from the Nike Foamposites, Pennys shoe. I will forever love this shoe.Thats where I got the color of his electric blue hair. His bumpy shoe texture was from another pair, but I cant remember what shoe it was. As i grew older, shape theory became super important to me, so I went away from muscular to the physique of a scrawny kid, in order to tell a better visual story, and to make a contrast with the gloves. Ill draw a more recent version of him soon, maybe hes older and lost a glove?
