Kachipolopolo Francis Wynter Kabimba and the Chiefs. Wynter and other well meaningful Government technocrats should thing using their brains over the issue of enacting a law to give chiefs immunity from their subjects. That law will be the most retrogressive law in the land of Zambia. The Zambian people have been advocating for the reduction of powers in the presidential office for more than 19 years. Chiefs are human beings who lead people who want them to be transparent, accountable and participatory. therefore to make them small gods will not serve the interest of the Zambians. What Wynter should advocate and pave way for its enactment is a law give chiefs immunity from presidential office interference. Those of you who share a table and a bottle with Wynter kindly advice him on the implications such draconian laws. otherwise he is not rendering any service to the nation. Even if Wynter claims there is no morality in politics. Zambians want morals in politics and would like to see progressive laws.
