Kai Kai has us at the end of our rope! She has been really difficult lately and I dont know if its me or if theres something I can do to curb her bad habits.. Shes only 6 months old, just a baby still.. I hope Im not just expecting too much of her since JakJak was such an easy baby... There are a couple things shes doing that I dont know how to handle. If shes allowed to go in and out of the house (we usually just keep the back slider open for the dogs) she either digs under the fence or climbs over it (not kidding) and we find her in the front yard or in a neighbors yard, shes even been brought home by neighbors. We got a long 26 lead and sometimes for short periods of outdoor time, she will be on that, but then she cries incessantly. If kept inside she cries to go out and has accidents on the floor. We are working with our landlord to get a new fence built but it might be awhile before thats actually going to be completed. She also wakes up every night, sometimes more than a few times and cries and howls to get out of her crate (Ive tried to have her sleep in the room with us and Jak but then she cries to get in her crate).. It just seems like shes never happy where she is and I dont know what to do about it. We go to the dog park regularly but thats another issue, she gets really stressed in the car and drools and foams at the mouth and gets carsick. I have to sit with her with a bag ready to catch her when she throws up :( Sigh poor girl.... I know she will outgrow this stuff and Im trying to come up with ways to overcome each obstacle she throws our way but its not been easy.... any suggestions?? I love love love my baby girl, I really want to make life better and safe for her!
