Kaitlyn is doing really well - I apologize for not updating you all sooner. She was sick back in June but we got her antibiotics quickly and with diligent chest physical therapy (CPT) and nebulizer medications we kept her lungs clear. She started walking two weeks ago pretty regularly and independently. We are so proud! Her speech development is also blossoming and she is starting to express herself way more. We just saw Cardiology last week and they said in 4-5 years her shorter leg will catch up because the vessels have re routed and are supplying the lower leg with blood now. We saw the Orthopedist this morning and she doesnt have to return for a year. Life is so good and we are so blessed. I will try and update you all more frequently. She still has PT, OT, Speech, Infant Ed and Behavioral. When she ages out next month from her services she will need them from the school district. We have those assessments set for later this month, and while she is eating more now she is still primarily tube fed. Thank you all for continuing to care and keep her in your prayers!
