Kajiado county government finally wakes up.. The governor Dr. David Ole Nkedianye has finally maneuvered around with his clever working and patient style of leaderships its all systems goes to work after a year of stalemate in our county. Last Thursday, Our county government celebrated one year of devolution in style. All arms of the county government were present and the atmosphere was clearly a working environment. The Governor and his whole Cabinet Secretaries were very jovial with a clear working plan in hand for this great county. The Hon. Speaker and all the Members of County assembly were equally not left behind. They have finally seen the light and all echoed conciliatory terms and promise to work closely and as a team with the executive to deliver service across the county at large. Members of the public service board were also there, thought they received their share of blames from the Mcas, the governor eloquently and objectively defended them saying the devolution child is still young and must be handled with extreme care. Members of Public from all corners of this county were not left behind either. It was pombs and songs from various groups, singing and dancing, celebrating one year of devolved system of government in kajiado town. We as Kajiado county congress do take early chance to congratulate our county government for promising to stop blame games between the executive and the assembly and roll their sleeves to deliver services to the electorates. Once again congratulation from Lelero E maa congress and affiliates groups. One year or so has gone yet there is very little to show yet billions of development funds from the exchequer are lying idle in various banks un utilized. Chief accounting officers slots are yet to be filled fully. Hospitals are in dire bad situations, Roads are pathetic Agriculture and livestock sector is yet to fully pick up. Education is public school is all time low, if last year kcse/kcpe national results is anything to go bye. The tourist sector is also yet to pick up yet we boss of having all wildlife and hotels in our county. The governor in his speech touched on all sector which drives the economy and he sounded very optimistic that alot need to be done. Dr. Nkedianye also mentioned various activities that his government has already rolled out which are various stages of completions. Our expectation are high, the electorate breath with relieved with the MCAs said they will put politics aside for developments sake. Its our hope and trust that both arms of the county government will swallow their pride and put their best foot forward and work for this great people of Kajiado country. Its our prayer that no more noise but work, work and more work. We expect tenders to go to all but mostly youth and women. This congress has the capacity to act as a close monitoring unit on all matters concerning proper policy development and implementations. The citizenry who voted you all in on march 4th 2013, want want to see a vibrant growing economy in our county and time is running so fast. We have full confidence on Dr. Nkedianye ability to turn things round against all odds. Once again all the best to our governor, the Cpsb and the county assembly. And its our prayer to our government that may God Guide and bless the work of your hands now and in the future,.
