Kaleb Hockenberry is now in Denver at Craig Hospital. Here is a post by his mom. Day 1 in Colorado: Kaleb experienced his first ever flight and it went great. We arrived at the Craig Hospital around 1:30 this afternoon, and thus the journey began. Kaleb was extremely nervous most of the day with so many new things going on. His team of doctors, nurses, and therapists are great! The atmosphere is awesome, and everyone seems anxious to get him going forward. We are both a little scared of the unknown, and the amount of information and all that he will face is somewhat overwhelming, but we are ready! He doesnt want me to leave him at all, and the staff is so sweet that they are allowing me to stay with him in his room tonight. He has had some pain in his throat and his trache area, but I think he is finally relaxed after a very long day. I can not even begin to express how very proud I am of him and his amazing ability to do what he is doing and still smile through it all when he wants to cry.
