Kalonzo now says Kethi is being persecuted for her sterling role when she represented Africog in a petition challenging the election of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto. He said his party will stand by Kethi and hire the best lawyers to defend her in court. “Musila (Wiper chairman) and I will stand by her. We have agreed as Wiper that we will be in the courtroom come Tuesday.” declared Kalonzo. Kethi will today (Tuesday 3rd Sept) appear in court to take plea over fraud charges.
