Kamela Meikle, (the UHS Girls Basketball Coach) whose leadership and dedication has been a staple at UHS for the past 12 years, received a letter of termination from Supt. Devono and the UHS Principal ...... Ms. Meikle took a job as a special educational teacher in neighboring Preston County. She has been the head coach at UHS for 12 years (record 195 - 62) and over 25 years as a basketball coach in the County. She has never missed a practice or received a technical as a coach........Her players have learned what it takes to be a winner ---ON and OFF THE COURT!!!!!!!!! In my opinion -----What lesson are we teaching our students in this County?
