Kameron completed 49 laps today during his schools Fun Run which is their main fundraiser for the year. They extended the time to collect donations through next Friday because they are $10K short of their goal. I really like that his school is promoting fitness and wellness as a way to raise funds. All of the kids received a t-shirt regardless of the amount of money raised. The PTO president mentioned to me that there were some kids that have raised $500+ thanks to having family and friends that are fortunate enough to donate, but at the same time their are kids that are bringing in $1.75 in change because thats all they can afford.
