Kara Dunne: This Sunday I go out to Lava Hot Springs for a few days to document the Etcheverry family and their shipping of the lambs. Im excited to see this big sheep herding event and how it works. While Im there Im going to be make a few arborglyphs of my own... the imagery to materialize in a few years. The imagery Im using is to the left. To the right is an example of a basque shepherds arborglyph in Nevada, although many can be found in Idaho. I will also be carving designs given to me by a handful of artist friends around the country. Id like to make a aspen tree arborglyph gallery with art work.
