Karen Watson, CNP Manager at Sylacauga High School, was honored on March 3, 2014, at a national presentation in Washington, DC. Karen was one of five honorees from across the country to be named a School Nutrition Hero by the national School Nutrition Foundation. The accompanying video was shown at the awards presentation to introduce Karen to the 900 members in attendance. With the national spotlight shining on her, Karen represented Sylacauga High School and the state of Alabama with grace and poise. We at Sylacauga City Schools are all very proud of our School Nutrition Hero, Karen Watson.
