Karjan: There are 18 schools in Karjan, among them the Shah N.B. Sharvajanic high school, which attracts students from nearby villages, which has science, commerce and arts streams. Arts and commerce college are also part of Karjan education. Faculty of Shah N.B. Sharvajanic HS includes some great teachers like Mr. A.B.Jadav [M.A,M.Ed,M.Phil,NET(Edu)], Mr.C.N.patel, Mr.P.J.Chikhalia from Ochhan Village, Mr.P.K.Prajapati, Mr.V.P.Patel, Mr.M.M.Vyas, Mr.C.K.Bhagora, Mr.R.C.Modi, Mr. Gohil and many more... Pradeepsinh Jhala [M.sc.(Zoology),M.Ed.] is the principal of the school. Some big villages around Karjan includes Dhavat,Kasampur,kurali, Anastu, Oslam, Choranda, Kandari, Sasrod, Miyagam, Umaj, Motikoral, etc. There is very famous school named Sabari High School, which is known for its qualitative education. Imtiyaz Ismailkhan Chauhan {The M.S.University of Baroda} who ranked first in National level QUIZ on Gandhian Thought and Life studied here. A new General Hospital was established in November. In Karjan Taluka there are places for meditation as well as peaceful places like Nareshwar, Motikoral on the bank of Narmada river and nearer, one village named Sagdol where historical Shiv Shakti temple. There are most numbers of engineers than any other taluka in Vadodara.
